Test Pin plant restricted by S/M opening

Hi all,

We are facing a critical problem on E-T capability. In our E-T fixture design regulation, if isolated single electrical net with unilateral S/M opening less than 4mil, it will not be tested. The registration of S/M, DF and drilling resulted in such limitation. In other word, there are some nets without pass E-T escaped to customers. Dose you have the same issue? If not, how to solve this problem?  As I known, Viasystem faced the same problem as Multek encountered. 4mil S/M opening is the limit capability PCB industry?

Do you have any advice on capability improvement except improve registration precision of OL DF, S/M and Drilling. Or change different pitch test pin?
