why silver plating is easy oxided

customer always complains my PCB silver pads have oxide problem. Do anyone know why silver plating is easy oxided?

But, the oxide location not only occur beside holes, it also happen in the pads.

“我知道！不仅在孔边，PADs也有！”化学沉积形成的镀层本来就是多孔性的,很容易氧化。而且现在做化学沉银的都有氧化问题，以前我见人用过一种封孔剂（有的地方就叫化银后处理），一种酸溶性，热熔性的有机膜来封孔，以达到抗氧化的作用。当然和你的保存条件，温度湿度等也有一定关系。

Dear all,

One expert enginner told me that silver is a very active ion metal. It is easy to make a chemical changed and occur oxide from the air. So, normally PCB maufacture just reply customer PCB immersion tin can expose in air 3 day but PCB immersion silver just only 24 hour.
