“It isn't too much”是表示客气的话。
Hope you satisfied with the explanation about the usage !

what differences are the phrase"insist on" ,"adhere to",and"stick to"?
  thanks

Basically, there's no big difference among "insist on" ,"adhere to",and"stick to". If you really want to know what's the difference. Here's my idea:
一般来说:"insist on" 跟doing sth;"adhere to" 跟 sth ;"stick to" 跟 doing sth/sth 。
  1。If you insist on practise your pronounciation, you will speak like a native speaker.-----这个词组一般形容人的行为;

  2。China will unsunswervingly adhere to the policy of "One country and two systems".(中国将始终不渝的坚持“一国两制”的方针)---这个词组一般指国家或组织机构坚持什么什么等;

  3。stick to one's colors---.
     stick to one's guns-----固执己见
     stick to one's knitting----只管自己的事情
     stick to one's last-----做自己份内的事

Hope I can be help to you :)[em19]
