请教楼主一个小问题,关于模型的无源性和因果性检查的:

对于S参数模型,可以用hyperlynx方便的检查模型的无源性和因果性问题(不是帮Mentor做广告,只是这么用起来方便,经常这么用)。

但对于像HFSS等导出的broadband spice模型,有什么好办法检查模型的无源性和因果性吗?

我现在是先在Hspice里边用.lin得到touchstone格式的多端口S参数模型,然后再用hyperlynx来检查无源性和因果性,感觉比较麻烦。

对于broadband spice,你根本不用担心它的无源性、因果性问题,Vector Fitting算法会让它自动满足无源性。

我现在碰到的一个供应商给的封装模型,仿真发现波形异常,用其他模型替代后仿真波形正常(两者波形大体相同,前者有尖毛刺)。将这个模型在hspice里边用.lin得到touchstone格式的多端口S参数模型,然后再用hyperlynx来检查无源性和因果性,无源性检查不能通过。

是不是因为生成broadband spice模型的原始s-parameter频点太少了?

一切皆有可能。

有可能是所使用的转换软件缺陷。

在利用软件将s参数转到成宽带spice模型时,不恰当的转换设置(如转换残差、反复次数、极点个数)也会导致不正确的结果。

你可以直接找供应商要s参数模型,这个应该很容易办到。
