为什么我在Vista（with sp1）安装PADS2007SP2集成版时组建可选的只有Logic、Layerout、Router，没有了DxDesigner?是Vista的问题还是源文件有问题，请高手们解答，谢谢！

就是这样的。
只有这几个组件能在Vista下使用，其它的程序还是没有Vista版的，建议在XP下使用。
另：楼主能将文件上传到某个FTP上么？

PADS2007.2 Release Highlights
Introduction
Welcome to the PADS2007.2 Release Highlights. This release is primarily a defect fix release
to the PADS2007.1 release, but also includes enhanced functionality in the areas of operating
system support and graphics.

Release Goals
Improvements have been made by requirements gathered from PADS® User Validations,
customer requests through our Service Request program, and PADS User Group meetings.
Licensing and Installation
Windows Vista
PADS2007.2 supports installation of PADS Layout, Logic and Router under Windows Vista.
Other programs in the PADS2007.2 release are not available for installation under Vista.
Customers who require DxDesigner, HyperLynx Analog, HyperLynx or IO Designer should
install PADS2007.2 under Windows XP.
Important: Installing under Windows Vista
When installing PADS2007.2 under Windows Vista, customers must first install security
drivers using Autorun, then reboot the system, before installing the PADS2007.2 software.
Windows XP and Windows Vista Japanese
PADS2007.2 supports Windows XP and Windows Vista Japanese. PADS Layout, Logic and
Router menus and dialogs display Japanese characters; other programs have been qualified
under Japanese but display English characters.

Windows 2000
Windows 2000 is no longer a supported operating system as of this release.
Licenses, Design Format and Libraries
PADS2007.2 uses the same licenses, design format and libraries as PADS2007.1. It is not
necessary to convert libraries or designs for this release.
Installation
PADS2007.2 is a completely separate installation from previous PADS releases. The
Installation path for PADS2007.2 is now C:\MentorGraphics\2007.2PADS. While
PADS2007.2 does not overwrite previous PADS installations, you should back up your
existing PADS installation, designs and libraries prior to installing PADS2007.2. See the CD
insert (also available as instalcd.pdf from \release_documents in the download image) and the
PADS Installation and Licensing Guide (\release_documents\ manage_sw_pcb.pdf in the
download image) for detailed installation instructions and a list of compatible programs.
Authorization Codes
No changes to authorization codes are required for this release. You may request your existing
authorization codes by opening a non-product Service Request on SupportNet:

HyperLynx OCUR Release 2
Out-of-cycle Update Releases (OCURs) are fully qualified release candidates that are waiting
for an approved release vehicle to be included in for global customer consumption. The
difference between an OCUR release and a global release is the scope of the distribution.
OCURs are supported in a customer production environment and are always rolled in the next
available global release.
The new HyperLynx build number in PADS2007.2 is 387.
PADS Layout
PADS Layout graphics routines have been improved to reduce screen anomalies. After most
operations the screen now regenerates automatically without the need to initiate a manual

panning.
By default the value below is set to “1” (enabled) in
C:\MentorGraphics\2007.2PADS\SDD_HOME\Programs\powerpcb.ini . In some cases on
very large designs performance may be reduced. To disable automatic screen refresh and
restore previous functionality to improve performance, close PADS Layout, set the value to
“0” in C:\MentorGraphics\2007.2PADS\SDD_HOME\Programs\powerpcb.ini, save the file
and restart PADS Layout.

Platforms
Windows Vista
PADS2007.2 supports Internet Explorer 6.x and higher on Windows Vista.
Hardware Recommendations:
Memory—1 GB Minimum, 2GB recommended
Virtual Memory—2X the amount of RAM
Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home
Additional OS Patches—Service Pack 1a or Service Pack 2 (plus any Web Updates or
Hotfixes to this service pack available through Microsoft). Tip: There is no benefit to installing
SP1a if you are already running Windows XP SP1. Microsoft does not recommend that you
install SP1a if you are already running SP1.
Are there any issues running InfoHub from Internet Explorer on Windows XP Service
Pack2?
Microsoft has made a change to the default settings for Internet Explorer in Windows XP SP2
that disables Javascript from running for locally installed HTML content, thus preventing the
InfoHub from functioning. To fix this issue, select Tools > Internet Options > Advanced.
Scroll down to the Security section, and select "Allow active content to run in files on My
Computer". Click OK. This is not an issue for Mozilla FireFox or Netscape users.
Hardware Recommendations:
Memory—512 MB Minimum, 1GB
Virtual Memory—2X the amount of RAM
