Supplier Quality Engineer
-- Coordinate quality issues with engineering and the supplier.+ i0 W7 V; [* D9 s

-- Produce and analyze performance metrics.
-- Be familiar with elements of ISO.! s2 l+ |7 V6 }( O7 N
-- Drive corrective actions to closure.
-- Identify quality constraints in process and product.
-- Conduct meetings with suppliers.
-- Manage audit, survey, and quality plan schedules.
-- Be familiar with quality management tools such as SPC, Pareto ranking and process( p8 k+ j: z9 X
capability studies.
-- Develop quality plans and monitor their progress.2 Z |8 M7 d( N: W0 n
-- Excellent verbal and written skills are required.
-- Proficient with Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word/ z2 ~8 R: P' l: U [) N3 {2 v" R
-- Develop Reliability Studies; Failure Mode Effects Analysis; Design of Experiments
Specific Requirements:
-- Managing the supplier quality aspects related to Electronic components, Printed Circuit
Boards, disk drives, power supplies, cables, and sheet metal injection molded plastics.
-- Work with Mechanical engineering, Logic Design Engineering and SCM buyers to provide supplier with correct criteria and resolve reliability and quality problems.
Specific Knowledge/Experience
-- BS in Engineering with 4 or more years experience as a Quality Engineer Track supplier quality through DPPM goals.
我简单总结一下：公司虽然是做IC设计的，但有一个部门（在北美）也做系统级的设计，工厂就在亚洲（中国，东南亚都有）。
这个部门把产品外包给例如像台湾友达这种的代工公司，但是同时公司会让友达从指定供应商采购部分元X/ k; W. U/ V配件，以满足设计要求。
这个职位就是来管理这些特定的供应商的。应聘者需要有相关的经验，善于沟通，同时英语还要不错，因为要跟老美经常沟通开会。
