How much sleep do we need?

Difficult but useful words:
regimen: 生活制度
organs and tissues:器官和组织
rejuvenate:使恢复,使年轻
invigorated:精神焕发的
prowess:威力
cat nap:打瞌睡
deprivation:剥夺
anomaly:不正常的


How many hours do you sleep in an average?
And are you a deep sleeper or a shallow/light sleeper?

8:00-- 9:50   the first and second class
9:50--10:10   have a rest
10:10--12:00   3th and 4th class
12:00--14:00   lunch
14:00--17:00   do some reserach and design job
17:00--22:00   do something myself
22:00--next day 6:00  SLEEP


i sleep 8 hours

I guess you must be energetic everyday 'cause you sleep so much.

But how can you go to bed on right 22:00 every night?

Oops, I've never gone to sleep before 10PM when I was in the University, even, maybe I should say,especially, before the examination.

Yeah, campus life is so rich that it's impossible to sleep before 23:00 everyday.
You know, even in girls dormitory, after the light off, there's alway very hot and busy.

Now, I left the school and got a job, life is still rich and full.
Sleep is always something you lack of extremely.
I usually have no more than 6 hours sleeping. Sometime, the whole night wityout sleeping.
God, it's so bad for hearth. how poor!
What's more, I'm a typical light sleeper. Occasionally, I'm a little insomniac(失眠).
This has puzzled me for a long time, but still not resoved.

For KittyJ the insomniac, more sports may be good for your sleeping. Every time when I played Badminton with my friends, I will have a very good sleep,:-) But, u know I am not a doctor, this is just an advice.

Thank you  for your good advice.
For most of OL include me, too much time are spent in office and lack of time for sports.
Hehe, lucky enough, I'm not fat, otherwise, I have to have some sports.

I like dancing very much. In university, I often go for DISCO at night and come back at the wee hours the next morning.
And feel tired and usuall will miss the classes.
But now, I seldom go dancing aftering having a job. No time, no energy......
What a pity!

As to the insomniac, I have used to it and I usally have a cup of milk before sleeping----which will ease the pressure and good for a sound sleeping.
Do you know that another reason that I alawys short of good sleep is that I dreaming everyday.
If it's a nightmare, I will scared and wake up~~~~~~~~~

Hoho, you must be full of imagination.
Sport is not just for fatty, I love sport because it could make me more positive, you know after a long day working, all I want to do is just sleep.hehe!
BTW, do u dream in the day time? :-)

I cannot choose not to dream at night. Sometime I even wanna to turn to sleeping potions for a nice sleep.
But, my friend persuaded me not to eat this easily. it's no good to take sleeping potions.
It will bring negative effects. So I give up. And still puzzled most of the night.
