I think firstly, “鸡皮疙瘩”is not an loanword.
Both Chinese and Westerners have this kind of feeling, but they use different kind of animal to describe...Right???

Ok!“鹅皮疙瘩”。I think the foreigners are usually exaggerated when they express their feeling.So they choose an biger Bumps to describle it.But Chinese are introverted.So they choose "hens",as this logic.Who can use the word---"Birds"?
